Continuing the Mission

The 2022 fundraising event for the Motiv8 Foundation was held at the stunning Hatfield-Dowlin Complex . There was no shortage of fantastic guests and sponsors – including, Oregon football coach, Dan Lanning, and The Duck were in attendance to support the Motiv8 Foundation.

The event was small and casual to allow guests to spread out and enjoy food prepared by Sushi Pure, Sheild Catering and Prince Pucklers. The Motiv8 Foundation hopes to expand attendance for future events.

3rd Edition of Wines

Marcus hand selected the color of the labels for the 3rd edition of wines. The signature handwritten “8” of Marcus Mariota is the pillar of the labels.

Both of the wines are crafted from hand-picked grapes from our dry-farmed estate vineyard. The 2020 Pinot Noir is a showstopper with a flavor profile that will transport you to the airy Eugene hillsides. The 2021 Pinot Gris is everything you expect from our winemaker, Leo Gabica. Enjoy the crisp and aromatic nose that doesn’t disappoint with the flavor profile and lingering acidity.

Fundraising Elements

Not only did the wines raise money for the Motiv8 Foundation, but a fully stocked silent auction allowed attendees to continue the support.

A stunning watch from Skeie’s Jewelers was the top item. Attendees helped raise money for a future project with the Boys and Girls Club of Emerald Valley that will provide computers and internet access to children that do not have access at home. The Motiv8 Foundation matched a donation to send campers to Sabrina Ionescu’s Basketball Camp in 2023.

Back to School Initiative

The Motiv8 Foundation used fundraising dollars from the event to donate backpacks to youth in Lane County through Cornerstone Community Housing and HOSEA.
