Ramblings
At Sweet Cheeks Winery, we believe that above all, community matters just as much as the wine in your glass.
Our goal was ambitious: to raise $12,000 for our three selected local organizations. Each of these organizations is an important pillar in our community, helping families, children, or animals across Lane County. We’re thrilled to share that we met that goal, thanks to our guests’ participation throughout November and December.

Cat Rescue and Adoption Network (CRAN)
CRAN is an all-volunteer nonprofit group that has been serving Eugene and Springfield since 2007. Their mission is to care for cats and kittens and help them find loving homes. CRAN specializes in animals with special needs.
In late October, the Sweet Cheeks Winery family visited CRAN. We met several adoptable cats, Gronk being a favorite among the group! We appreciated this rare opportunity to see firsthand the patience and compassion behind every rescue. In 2025, CRAN supported 589 cats and facilitated 293 successful adoptions, turning these second chances into forever homes.

Kids FIRST
Funds will directly support the Kids FIRST Mental Health Program, which provides trauma-informed therapy to children impacted by abuse. Each year, Kids FIRST serves between 600 and 800 children and their families, many of whom face incredibly difficult circumstances. Timely access to quality mental health care is critical for healing. Through Charitable Cheers, your generosity helps to shorten those wait times. This allows children to receive compassionate, effective care sooner and begin healing without delay.

Relief Nursery
Support from Charitable Cheers will also benefit Relief Nursery’s Therapeutic Early Childhood Program (TECP). The program provides nurturing, trauma-informed care for children during their most formative years. This donation helps fund essential program needs, including teacher salaries, home-visiting services, and classroom supplies. Together, these resources ensure stable, consistent care for families.
Across Eugene and Springfield, Relief Nursery operates 13 classrooms serving children ages 0–5. Each classroom serves five to ten children. These classrooms create safe, supportive environments where young learners can grow and build confidence. Most importantly, they help develop a strong foundation for the future.
Charitable Cheers has become a meaningful tradition for us. It’s rooted in generosity, connection, and the belief that small moments can create lasting change. Each year, we’re inspired by the causes we’re able to support and the community that makes it possible.
To revisit the impact from previous years, we invite you to explore Charitable Cheers from 2024 and 2023.
Thank you for continuing to raise a glass with us. Not just in celebration, but in support of the people and causes that make our community stronger.
