Is outside alcohol allowed at the winery?
Outside alcohol is prohibited at all times. We ask that you please leave any outside alcohol in your vehicle during your visit. You can bring your bottle of Sweet Cheeks wine from home, but all alcohol must be opened by OLCC certified Sweet Cheeks staff members while on-site.

Can you taste the wine, and how much does it cost?
Yes, we do wine tasting everyday 12-6PM and Friday 12-9PM. We currently offer a complementary flight of three wines, as well as two Reserve flights at $5 each.

What forms of payment does the winery accept?
We accept cash, personal checks, Visa, MasterCard, and Discover. The winery does not accept American Express.

When is last call?
Last call for open bottles to enjoy on our patio is 5:15PM Saturday-Thursday and 8:15PM on Friday. Last call for glasses to enjoy on our patio is 5:30PM Saturday-Thursday and 8:30PM on Friday.

Are children allowed?
We don't encourage children on the property as our winery is a peaceful environment intended for adults. However, they're not prohibited and must be under adult supervision at all times. Also, due to potential hazards, children are not allowed in the vineyard or behind the winery.

Are dogs allowed?
Dogs are allowed but must be kept on a leash at all times. We do ask that you keep your dogs out of the Tasting Room and please pick up after them. There is a winery dog, Kody, that roams the winery and vineyard, so please know there is a chance he will be onsite.

Can I make a table reservation?
Yes, please contact Laura (laura@sweetcheekswinery.com) or Mallory (mallory@sweetcheekswinery.com) for more information.

Can I sell my product, or host a product party for my guests at the winery?
We ask that there is no outside solicitation at the winery during our business hours. Any products not sold by the winery must be approved by the winery prior to event date. If you would like to host a product party after hours, please contact Laura for more information.

What if the wine tastes bad or possibly corked?
Please return the wine as quickly as possible to the winery so we can bring it to the winemaker's lab to be checked. We'll happily replace your bottle at this time as well. 

Can we bring a picnic?
While there is food available for purchase in our tasting room, visitors are allowed to bring their own food to enjoy with our wines. Memorial Day Weekend through the end of September, local food carts join us on Friday evenings from 6-8:30PM.

Is it okay to walk in the vines?
Unfortunately, we do ask you stay on the patio and away from the vineyard to prevent the spread of agricultural diseases, as well as to avoid any personal injuries.

Are any of your wines vegan?
We do have a few wines that are vegan-friendly.  Unfortunately, all of our white wines and ros├ęs have had milk casein added to them.  As for our reds, only our Tempranillo has egg whites in it.  The rest of the reds are vegan-friendly.

Are any of your wines kosher?
At this time, we do not have any kosher wines.

Are you open year-round?
Yes, our tasting room is open to the public year-round, including Twilight Tastings and Mimosa Sundays.  We are closed for Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years Day, and our alternate holiday hours are 12-4pm on both Christmas Eve and New Years Eve.

What are Twilight Tastings?
We have Twilight Tastings every Friday evening year-round from 6-9PM. This is a complimentary event to attend where we pair three local cheeses with three of our wines, and feature a local musician from 6-8PM. Visit our event page for the music line-up.

What are Mimosa Sundays?
We have Mimosa Sundays every Sunday year-round from 12-6PM. This is a complimentary event to attend in which we have mimosas made with our Blanc de Noirs for purchase, and feature a local musician from 2-4PM. Visit our event page for the music line-up.

Do you give tours?
Given the small nature of the operation, our facility is not always able to accommodate tours. However, tours for large groups can be scheduled with the event coordinator.

How do I order wine to be shipped?

When is the best time to ship?
When shipping ground anywhere east of the Rocky Mountains, it is best to ship wine in the Spring and Fall. If the temperatures are below freezing, or above 85 degrees, there is a good chance your wine will be damanged. Also, we only ship out on Monday (excluding holidays), so keep that in mind when ordering wine for upcoming holidays and events. Do note that UPS does not pick up or deliver on Saturday or Sunday.
